I agree. I don't like this knee-jerk reaction that this War means we should hate or target every single Russian. While I understand the larger sanctions and crippling of their economy being necessary to topple the government or put pressure on them as well as invite more hate from its people toward said government... Unless Putin has an OnlyFans account I don't know about, the only thing shit like this does is hurt the people already hurting, and seems more directing the blame and hurting the wrong people.

IDK maybe its just me but I don't see how depriving a couple of woman of a source of Income because their leader is the biggest shitbag to hit the scene in the last 50 years is going to make any meaningful impact on this War. If anything it just seems like misguided virtue signaling.

It's about making life hard on the civilians so that they care about the stuff their government is doing. If it's just life as normal for them, there's no reason they pressure their government to change.

For sure. But I’m just pretty sure a lot of them already hate Putin and don’t want this war. Shit unless it’s also a RussianOp we have more than a few reports that soldiers on their side are being tricked into combat by being lied too about where they’re going and why. Not to mention with the value of their currency being the lowest in the world and their children and brothers/fathers/etc dying in a war they don’t want anymore than the Ukraine does I’m thinking they’re feeling it.

Putin is an oppressive war mongering dictator who kills his opposition, like I GET the strategy of demoralizing your opponents people but I guess don’t see how depriving some E-thots of their income contributes to removing a man like Putin from power. Like big picture or not it just feels like a publicity stunt.

Side note: pretty sure you don’t “pressure” a man like Putin to change, pretty sure historically speaking dictators only ever change when they die.

Edit: for the record and for the sake of clarification, I don’t think Russia is a victim here or aren’t to blame for the war, I just have my blame squarely focused on the limp dick potato at the top and his inner circle, and try not to just mindless hate on all Russian people because there’s a better than good chance that just like y’all during the Trump era, they don’t support the asshole calling the shots.

This is also true, but neutral voters for example will blame or credit a current President for the current economy regardless of how much the President was actually responsible for it.

Like Biden can't do shit about inflation. The appointments for the federal reserve that are being blocked could. But he's still going to bear the blame come midterms
