Yeah, Reva's whole arc didn't really do it for me. Just felt like extra filler. Wanted more Vader vs Obi Wan.

Finally got that Liam Neeson cameo. Give me season 2 Obi Wan and Qui Gon buddy comedy please

Reva already on Tattooine at the start while Obi-Wan & friends still being chased by Vader. Even one line explaining passage of time would have been good but nope. Things like that just bother the fuck out of me. Side tangent but it reminds me too much of the final season of Lost where characters can cross the island in a few minutes where in previous seasons it would take them 2 or 3 episodes. Or the final season of Game of Thrones where characters were traveling half way around the world in hours where it was previously established to take weeks or months. Bah.

Also Beru being ride or die was a bit of a surprise

The Vader/Obi-Wan fight was good but seemed straight ripped from Rebels. Like it was bordering on homage vs straight duplication and I’m not quite sure yet where it settled for me

I feel like you could take Reva out of this show and her absence would have made the story the same. In fact, the inquisitors in general were like Indy in Raiders.

This fight should have been what the duel in Sith was like.

Also, two throwbacks: one with "Hello there" and the other with his classic stance and saying "I will do what I must". The whole exchange was great and I wish the rest of the series was more like this episode.

Moments of absolute brilliance wrapped up in pretty shitty story telling. It was fine. Just meh because a few changes would have made it so much better.

Why did Anakin walk away after throwing some rocks on him. Why did Obi wan walk away after finally landing some decent hits? I can't think of any reasons outside "because the next movie still has to happen" and thats just not good story telling. Still emotional and gorgeous to watch though. Loved the cutting the helmet thing, but its already been done in canon. Meh, Idk.

Edit: Hayden and especially Ewan were phenomenal actors in this episode.

He could cut some robot limbs off again, but then Vader's back up arrives so Obi Wan has to run. Instead of just, leaving him alive... Again. Like, how did he not learn his lesson after RotS and the murder spree Vader has gone on in the past 10 years. Obi is making a choice right now to let all that shit continue for no reason.
