Considering Yoda struggled, my guess is Mace probably could have won but Palpatine was clearly manipulating this situation to both make it easier to defeat him and giving Anakin motivation to turn.

Didn’t know where else to put this but James Earl Jones has officially retired as the voice of Darth Vader. He has signed away his rights and given permission for Lucasfilm to continue using his voice in perpetuity with human or AI assistance. His official last appearance as Vader was in Rise of Skywalker, that voice line was 100% him. Vader’s lines in Kenobi were a mix of Jones, Hayden Christensen, and voice AI. Jones said he was convinced it was time for him to retire from the role after seeing how well the voice lines in Kenobi were done. This is also the same voice AI that they used for young Mark Hamill/Luke in Mandalorian and Boba Fett.

They did some spectacular shit with Val Kilmer too, he actually uses the same tech to talk IRL.
