Ron Howard really is under appreciated in how he managed to salvage Solo from the burning money pit it was becoming and turn it into a decent if flawed film.
Yes, but you're going down a different road here. The comics didn't come second to the movies, then Feige comes along and says none of the comics are canon anymore.
The books were approved as official extensions of George Lucas' lore and have been loved by fans for DECADES.
You don't just erase that.
Pretty much what kuro said. I know the EU had conflicting issues when it came to lore but it’s ridiculous for them to just say well fuck all that and still pick and choose things from it while ignoring the good storylines.

They could've been a bit more selective.
There's a lot of good EU stories out there, but shit like a force sensitive droid is just stupid.
I agree . Plenty of stuff to drop/ ignore but way more things that they could pull from and seems like with Feige in charge for next set of movies that’s what he’s gonna do. To be honest even with all the hate on these movies I love the lore and enjoy watching / reading about it. If we can get more games like fallen order too then all the better.

Rumor: Hayden Christensen to Reprise His Role as Anakin, Will Make Multiple Appearances

But Anakin died in Ep3! and Vader was born!
Maybe Obi became a crazy and hallucinates Ani often.
Yea, I'm curious how that happens...flashbacks I would think is a possibility...we saw vader without his mask in ESB, though from behind, so maybe that too idk
Im sure he thinks about the dude constantly. They were brothers and now he's watching over his kid.
Thinking about how he failed him? How he'll hopefully do better with Luke?
Or we just have straight up Vader scenes, looking for Obi Wan or speaking with Maul.
If it's Vader, why do they need Christensen?
Just to have him back? Maybe they felt it was disingenuous to not cast him in the role? Allows them to do Vader and Anakin scenes without hiring another actor? Scenes that have Vader without a mask or him losing his mask in combat? Maybe he runs into Obi Wan somewhere and removes the mask to yell at him about the high ground?
Who did they get in Rogue One?
Spencer Wilding according to the internet.
