Could be this too. Wonder why Ford wanted her to escape in the first place, if it was even him.
Those security guys were pretty weak too haha. It's not like they were metal endoskeletons covered with living tissue robots.
So, how will they make samurai world? Maybe cause they smuggled out the data to start anew perhaps.
How did ford know William would stab Delores sending her on a horse back ride to the beach that would be used as his narrative reveal?
Well, with the whole inference that humans and hosts are the same, that would suggest humans share the same flaws. In this case, William being guided by "his own" narrative and eventually trying to kill her, where she obviously fought back. Quibbling over her dying is probably a lost cause since even if he didn't knife her, maybe she would've been hit by a stray bullet instead. With just how long between then and the end show being an unknown, something else random could've also been arranged... like indians, snake bite, etc..
Hadn't Ford already spoken to William after his altercation with Delores?
Delores would have shot or stabbed herself cause of a memory, like how she's almost offend herself so many times already.
This article from Vulture confirms...

...but before I read that article, I assumed that Meave went back because her daughter was her "cornerstone memory".
still kinda dumb, since she knows it's not even her daughter. Just another robot doing who knows what.
so why did all the lights turn out after she got off the train i wonder.
sequel not coming out till 2018;;
wonder how whitewashed it will be, samurai world
read theories that ford made a host of himself to get shot in the head, and he's not really dead
I feel like it is as simple as this:
Ford didn't want to give up his spot on top. He was completely submissive to the black board chick -- and let her invite everyone that had anything to do with him leaving; the board. When the lady who was killed by Bernard, found his hidden room - she said "Ford is building his own hosts" -- which I think that host was a Ford Replica. It seemed to show that host being created a couple times throughout -- as if it had significance. Ford arranged to have the hosts turn on everyone -- almost an "Asteroid killing off the dinosaurs" - wiping the slate clean. William is still alive, as Ford needs the funding from him for the future. William will buy into it even more now that hosts can kill humans. Elsyie and FBI dude are alive -- as Ford liked them and had them hidden away so they would not be killed and of course the Ford that Delores killed was his host.
would be a horrific way to end the season if it wasn't the real ford, would be completely a completely meaningless scene
Ford is dead dead, Nolan has said as much and has yet to lie on any of the things he's given direct answers on.
Nolan said in an interview that wasn't a host copy of ford but the real deal.
I think he meant the "adventure" outfit; the shirt and pants versus the blue dress. She was wearing the same shirt and pants 30 years ago, and seemingly every time, when she went out with William and again for this final loop we are seeing.
I think the answer would be that she was constantly trying to retrace her steps and that lead her through the same trials and areas and put her back in that clothing. Also it confuses the viewer so they don't figure out the two timelines thing.
I'm really thinking that Bernarnold is going to build a Ford-bot
Why build a Ford bot? It doesn't have his memories, and both hosts and humans know Ford is dead. What purpose does a Ford bot serve, other then to give Hopkins a paycheck?
