Just finished watching. That might have been one of my top episodes of the season, though I know plenty of people who probably will hate that. Half of them I'm not sure why they're still watching the show though.

I think it was just her repeating the line from his story since she heard the whole thing as a way of understanding I guess. Also love how they pretty much filled in some missing info. We now know GN was woke during S1 which explains how they knew about the lab techs and molded it into their “religion” to spread the word. This is evident back when Meave was trying to draw the lab techs and saw a GN child with a doll that represented them. We also find out the GN was the ones hiding the maze symbol in scalps.

yeah we didnt know that ghost nation bro was the original woke-bot. definitely enjoyed the episode quite a bit. i just want them to go somewhere with the MiB storyline or excise that shit altogether, it is such a slog now. stop wasting ed harris dammit

Man, I don't get how people are disappointed with this. I think it's beautiful story telling. I enjoyed just as much if not more than any other episode this season and there have been some bangers.

Any scene with Ford is just incredible. This episode was no exception to that.

Also Ake didn’t die for 9 years because he was afraid of getting his memories wiped which is pretty damn crazy. Mofo was on an Alpha 2 build during all of that time.

As for the MIB, episode 9 is going to be killer. We are going to find out what really happened to his wife (we know she killed herself) and get to see what leads up to it. Also it should put to rest if MIB is a cloned host or not.

I loved that nugget, that he was afraid of dying and losing chica's memory so he survived for 10 years on the alpha build. I almost feel cheated that we're just now meeting this character but it was an incredibly satisfying reveal of an episode for ghost nation.

I agree the episode was beautiful and it really made me wish Ake was a part of main cast. However, in a scope of the story this season we really had no solid drama or story to anyone. It feels like every character is in the same place they been since end of season 1. I want to see some solid character growth and arc to the cast and it feels to me right now like they are stumbling around with writers not knowing what to do with them. Looks like next week we're gonna get some juicy bits with man in black but we're already on episode 9...

I finally got around to seeing this last night. I absolutely enjoyed the shit out of this narrative episode. It felt like a B plot done well in just one episode.

Sounds like it's gonna be ghost nation vs deathbringer.
