Can't believe Arrietta has a no hitter going with how shaky his first inning was.

Some long waits between innings too in cold weather
There goes the no-no and the shutout.
About time Cleveland decided to start playing some fucking baseball tonight.
Lookin' good tonight fellahs.. looking good tonight.
IDk if hendricks would have been nervous in his start. But with series tied and at home, he should be calm.
I say give Schwarber his shot on friday. He earned it.
Man, I actually got to watch the Cubs win a world series game.
I wouldn't say it's about earning his shot to play Friday, it's more along the lines of doctors giving the okay for him to play. His bat is needed, I agree, but unless the docs say it's ok that's a dangerous ploy to play him in the field. Last thing the cubs need is him tearing his ACL again.
I'm pretty sure the only reason he's on the roster is to DH. I'd be surprised if he's in the lineup in Chicago.
People are acting like the cubs have to have schwarber to win or stand a chance. That is not so. He is a big bat for sure, but not a necessity.
He will definitely pinch hit. Starting is questionable.

Can't think of a fan base more deserving of this championship win than north shore IL residents. They've had it so rough.

The God King Schwarber is not cleared to play on defense, so he'll be limited to pinch hitting for the games at Wrigley.
It can't be emphasized enough how much this game means to Cubs fans and the city of Chicago. Chi town is going to be crazy tonight. A lot of emotion. I might even get choked up during the National Anthem. I've been a Cubs fan sinse I was a kid even though I'm not from Chicago. I would explain how that happened but maybe another time. I feel like this is one of the most historic events in sports in our lifetime. There are very few people alive that remember the Cubs playing a World Series game at Wrigley. Just a couple of incredible things to note:
This is the first time a WS game has ever been televised from Wrigley Field.
This is the first night game ever played there in a WS game.
Wow, this umpire's strike zone is terrible
that perez strikeout was amazing
