Did you read their argument? I assumed he meant actual Time with the puck since that's what he seemed to be talking about, with his eliminating any possession comment.

Did we watch the same game? More shots on goal doesn't mean they outplayed the Hawks. Look at time of possession and wins at the dot. Hawks played a really solid game and practically eliminated any possession for a vast majority of the 2nd period which is the rangers' strength this year.

Are people actually tracking actual possession time? I thought people were still using corsi as possession metric.

If theres a site thats tracking actual possession time, care to share? Cause most people are still using Corsi as a measure of possession.

I know Skjei has a full cage on, so he's probably got some facial injury, but why after Hank getting bowled over like that his first thought is to play the puck? And Vesey is looking to the refs instead of beelining to Eakin.

Rangers have gotten third man in penalties consistently. Could be why.

Nick Holden Staal and Miller all drilled people during the play immediately after.

I dont think any coach would be upset at their team taking a third man in penalty in that situation.
Also, the Refs might ignore the third man in ruling in a situation like that. Its a risk you take. You cant let your elite goaltender get bowled over like that without reprucussions.
