I dunno if I'm being wooshed but the Sieloff that took out MacArthur was traded from Calgary to Ottawa for Chiasson. He hasn't been anywhere near the Pittsburgh roster/system since Calgary drafted him

It had nothing to do with Pittsburgh, just Sep's hypocrisy. NHL doesnt do enough to enforce playersafety, but he has no problem with AHL tier players injuring established NHLers to demonstrate "toughness"

Who knows. We can't have picked him up to replace Kapanen on the Marlies because he'd have to go through waivers to get sent down I believe.

Clarke MacArthur confirmed done for the season by the Sens. Concussed by an AHLer trying to make the team during training camp. What a way to go.

I feel really bad for him. MacArthur was one of my favourite Leafs, and he's been great for the Sens, when he can play. If he does come back the next injury/concussion will surely end his career.

Okay so I lied, I know exactly why they picked Griffith up. The Leafs were the only team to put a claim in for him so he doesn't have to go on waivers to be sent to the Marlies. He's definitely there to fill in for Kapanen.

Stollery with a dirty hit to Beaulieu about 5 feet from the boards from behind.

SNE justifying it because "Beaulieu put himself in a vulnerable position" by stopping so far from the boards and turning his back, and also has to be aware of which young defenceman are trying to score a roster spot and will make that hit.

IDK what you guys expected, Stollery is is like the Devils 8th or 9th D at best. Hes just trying to prove he could be a solid, tough 3rd pairing guy long term.
