I'm feeling pretty optimistic about it. The first game against them is this Tuesday and they'll be on a back to back after playing in Minne the night before. The Flames are playing really well up and down the lineup and having 4 games against them really enforces the ideal of making the playoffs being in their own hands as opposed to scoreboard watching and hoping for the best

Poor budaj he did wonders for the kings this year. What a way to thank him

Just really sucks for Budaj. Played so well to be traded away as soon as Quick was activated.

Biggest reason why I can see this happening is Bishop has played 20 fewer games than Budaj, so technically getting fresher legs. But to have an expensive rental like this means fuck all if the Kings can't score.

Quick is under contract for another 6 years or so. So either this is a big rental (wonder if the draft pick sent to TB is a 1st rounder too) or they're gonna re-sign Bishop and expose Quick at the draft/potentially buy him out.

No way they run a 1a/1b goalie tandem in LA for longer than this season.
