Most teams usually just get a warning if they're derping around, or someone will randomly need to fix their skate to drag it out "legitimately".
I honestly can't remember a time the ref dropped the puck like "Fuck you, other team was ready. Too bad!" or handed out a delay of game for taking forever.

The refs dropped the puck once on the penguins without all five guys lined up yet a few years ago

No change to offside rules, meaning more goals will be overturned over something visible on a singular frame at 30 frames per second. Meanwhile, "intent to blow" will continue to be a thing, because human error and reaction time is justified when it comes to blowing a whistle, but not when it comes to determining if someone entered the zone 0.033 seconds before the puck did.

In lobbying for an Arizona Senate bill, NHL commissioner Gary Bettman has declared that "The Coyotes cannot and will not remain in Glendale."

Bettman wrote a letter to the Arizona Legislature on Tuesday advocating for Senate Bill 1149, which would establish a public-private partnership for financing a new Coyotes arena closer to downtown Phoenix.

He affirmed the league's commitment to keeping the Coyotes in the Phoenix area but said Glendale "is not economically capable of supporting a successful NHL franchise."

"For the past 15 years, a succession of ownership groups and the League have tried everything imaginable to make the Glendale location financially sustainable. Our combined efforts all have yielded the same result -- a consistent economic loss," he wrote.

"The Arizona Coyotes must have a new arena location to succeed."
