That being said, if he turns into Calgary's version of Marchand or fuck Corey Perry or even Kesler when Kesler was good for those 2 seasons, I'm okay with it. Tighten that shit up, but keep getting under players skin. Calgary hasn't had a player like that in years

You're exaggerating. He's had one or two other questionable incidents at best. One happened to be against the Leafs and you're just being a homer.

Kids got skills/potential no doubt and it'd be great for you guys if he turned out to be one of them, there's a fine line between those pests and the pests like Sean Avery, hopefully he tilts to the correct side, cause honestly that was a dirty elbow.

I totally agree. I like him playing with that edge and if he were to get rid of it altogether it would be a big shame. But he's gotta learn where that line is and how not to cross it and become an Avery or whoever. Marchand is a great example of a guy who eventually found that balance and supplemented it by adding in a bunch of offensive skill.

Game against Washington tonight is going to be fun. A nice measuring stick as to how good the Flames really are against some of the top teams in the league. Big win over Pittsburgh last week, but the last time we played Washington was at the start of the year when the Flames still didn't have their shit together and were still adjusting to the new coach and systems.

Ovie was real good tonight. PP goal was a beauty and the assist he had on the Oshie goal was really nice too. Albeit, that wouldn't have happened if Backstrom hadn't sent a fantastic pass of his own cross-ice.

Sucks we lost but Washington definitely deserved the win

Its hard to tell since Kane's in the way, but it definately looks like Guentzel's head in the principal point of contact

Ristolainen hits him on the right side of his body, and its the left side of his body (and face) that contacts the ice first, and its the left side of his face where he is cut, presumably from his visor.
