I thought we looked okay in the first period but by the middle of the second we were clearly out of gas and frankly just outclassed.

Ended up being 100 plus penalty minutes. I can't believe I'm going to say this but thank you kings for beating Edmonton. ( man that leaves a bad taste in my mouth). After the first fight I turned to the guy who sits behind me and said Johnny hockey wouldn't play much the last 13mins and I think he took 1 shift after. Don't think he was hurt but the way the game ended that's a smart move by the coach.


Didn't get a very good look at the hit by Giordano but I saw the replay and I don't think there was any intent but it was knee to knee.

With about a minute to go a 'you can't win here' chant started. Think it's 25 games in a row. First time I've ever seen a guy get first star in a game for fighting.
