2nd in the Pacific, 12th in the league! What a turnaround. But honestly, given their point percentage compared to other teams I won't really feel confident until Calgary manages to bump up that percentage from barely over .500 to closer to .630~.650+. Their current standings are pretty misleading. Still a bit of a ways to go do to prove it's not all just a short term blip

Yeah, it's why getting excited in October/November is kinda dumb. Plenty of games left to completely go terribad.
If say around the all star break things are still holding up, then get excited.

I mean, at the end of October, it was OMG OILERS ARE FOR REAL vs OMG CALGARY IS TERRIBLE! FIRE GUTLTUZLZUTLAN! and now it's a reversal of fortunes. Which once again, it's December, anything can happen*.

I wasn't surprised by the people calling for Gulutzan's head after the rough start, just kind of disappointed. It's kind of annoying how people cling to Hartley's brief success without seeing all the bad he brought with his style of play.

Calgary played a bit of a stinker today too. Weren't very strong offensively 5 on 5 at all. But some key defensive moments and Chad fucking Johnson paved the way to the W. The PK has been fucking unreal though and even the PP is starting to come around
