Someone at fox involved in sexual harassment? I can hardly believe it.
Just think of how many hot blonde Fox Newswomen O'Reilly has crushed over the years.
Oh for fuck's sake.
Robert F Kennedy JR says Trump asked him to chair a commission on vaccine safety and he agreed. Has lobbied for vaccine exemptions.
Wasn't vaxxer bullshit supposed to be a point of shame for the liberal community? I swear Trump just sucked up all of the horrible this election and is now vomiting it into the white house.
Trump isn't about to let partisanship get between him and an awful idea.
He just grabs it right in the pussy.
Wow.... Did Sessions really just suggest that people who are in mortal danger because they choose to speak out against abusive governments (i.e. syrian refugees), SHOULD BE DENIED ENTRY because THEY are at greater risk OF ATTRACTING PEOPLE THAT WOULD TRY TO KILL THEM? If we're gonna treat asylum seekers like that, why would they even bother coming here?!
barring an act of God Sessions is getting confirmed. Dems need to be careful of legislative overreach when dealing with these confirmation hearings and stick to barring only the most objectionable of Trump's picks. a mass rejection of nominees would only trigger a reflexive close the ranks reaction from Republicans they need (Rand, Rubio), and they could alienate an American populace that is not especially fond of the Republican Party but one that has given them the presidency and both chambers of Congress and dislikes sore losers.
Sessions is well-liked in the Senate, and during this confirmation he's said waterboarding is illegal, Hillary is not getting prosecuted, a Muslims ban is a no-go, he would stand by SCOTUS's gay marriage decision, and he denied making most of the racist comments attributed to him. it's over, he's in. Dems would only waste political capital opposing him at this point.
Mnuchin will be the one denial they'll get if they play it right. Otherwise they're all pretty much guaranteed.
I'm not sure why you are proposing "a mass rejection of nominees" as an even remotely possible outcome.
i wasn't? i said a Democratic attempt at such would only trigger loyalty impulses in the Republican defectors they need to bar the worst of the picks. but it's clear various cohorts of the Democratic base cumulatively find most of Donald's picks unacceptable and desire exactly such mass opposition.
