Should we worried that Trump is wondering about getting his kids top secret security clearance? They won't have roles due to nepotism concerns, but still want to run his companies. Seems like all kinds of shady things are operating in plain view.

The Trump team has asked the White House to explore the possibility of getting his children the top secret security clearances. Logistically, the children would need to be designated by the current White House as national security advisers to their father to receive top secret clearances.

He'll be told they have no need or use for the clearance and life will probably go on. I'd chalk it up to his general inexperience for why he's even asking, but please continue speculating.

At least he's asking instead of just willy nilly giving uncleared people access to classified info, unlike some other presidential candidates from this year.

Now that Trump is the President-Elect, it might be prudent to judge him based on his actions alone and not try to water them down by comparing him to a failed candidate.

Pence’s administration brought in an outside law firm to join the litigation, which was spearheaded by Texas Gov. Greg Abbot. The move prompted one Indianapolis lawyer to request documents related to the decision to bring in outside counsel.
