Ok. Doesn't matter to me.

"Now, let’s take this line of thought to its conclusion. The DNC claims:
the charter authorizes them to pick a candidate in a proverbial cigar smoke-filled backroom.
“impartiality” is so vague a concept that DNC officials can, with impunity, take actions to favor whichever candidate they wish.
impartiality is a “political promise”, and we all know those are worth squat amiright?"
They're trying too hard to act like the republican party lol.
we shall see shortly enough, but i think the notion that because Democrats are failing to win seats they should not be winning they are a lost party is a rather immature view of the situation, one that pays too little attention to context and is overly fixated on wins and losses. i won't argue the Democratic losses are some strange species of victory, but these are non-competitive red seats. Republicans winning them says very little about anything.
i'd also note there is great danger in acting as though historical trends apply to all other times but not to the present one. while that is very occasionally true usually it is the result of individuals believing their time to be exceptional simply because it is the only one they are presently experiencing. Trump is somewhat anomalous but populist demagogues have long plagued the Republic, it's just been a while since one was opposed by candidates as weak as Clinton and Cruz.
And even then, the simple rubric of "the less liked candidate received fewer votes" held true.
Prominent Democratic Fundraisers Realign to Lobby for Trump's Agenda
lol destroy this fucking partyLobbying records show that some Democratic fundraisers, who raised record amounts of campaign cash for Clinton, are now retained by top telecom interests to help repeal the strong net neutrality protections established during the Obama administration.
Others are working on behalf of for-profit prisons on detention issues, while others still are paid to help corporate interests pushing alongside Trump to weaken financial regulations. At least one prominent Clinton backer is working for a health insurance company on a provision that was included in the House Republican bill to gut the Affordable Care Act.
While Republican lobbyists are more in demand, liberal lobbyists are doing brisk business that has them reaching out to fellow Democrats to endorse — or at least tamp down vocal opposition to — Trump agenda items.
these fucking losers lol
