Moderate dems just crying because the republican party is batshit insane and Bernie is basically going to be the unstoppable force that Clinton was.
But hey they got pretty rad stickers.
I'm not holding out for him. I'm at a point where I just want republicans to be shelved. But at this point right now in terms of the 2020 primaries Bernie is basically a giant shadow looming over the democratic primary ala Clinton was in 2016.
It could be Joe Manson running and I'd still support him over any (R).
I don't think Centrism is the cure to the democrats problem. They fighting against a party that has a yuge propaganda machine between Fox News and Sinclair not to mention the kinds of types.
Democrats need a platform to get people out there and voting. Bernie isn't gonna do that.
Gotcha. Him rolling over to Clinton kind of sealed his fate (not that he had much choice since DNC steamrolled him), but now his age is a major factor of him ever holding any major office; same with Biden. Honestly, If the left has to hang their hopes on anyone moving forward, it should be Cory Booker.
Up until the pharma vote that got him some undeserved ire because of national party identity politics, Booker was basically the second coming of Obama to a lot of people. Young, charismatic, not white, and easily rallied around for younger voters due to his public perception.
Any reasonable person should be willing to acknowledge currently that the statement said, and I mean this literally, at least 1000 times here is true. Republicans fall in line and Democrats split the vote.
A third party that is viable won't split the parties any less. There are a large amount of people who are under the illusion that a "perfect", or as near as possible, candidate exists and is electable. Personally, I think that exactly describes the problem we face. Perfect is the enemy of the good, or in this case, the enemy of the not-Trump.
And I know there are plenty who say "we shouldn't have to settle for just 'not Trump'" and sure, awesome, you're right. Congrats. How have moral victories been working for either side of the D party these days?

OH NO NOT DAY
Despite posting that I can't help but look at other things like Stein hanging out with Putin at that same dinner Flynn was at and think of the term I saw for Greens, Watermelon. Green on the outside, red on the inside.
Zoom quote on Andrew Stein's name, etc
