Her congressional voting record is to the left of Obama, on par with Elizabeth Warren, and barely more moderate than Sanders. She led (and lost) the fight for universal healthcare over two decades ago.

Yeah, she's not exactly been courageous in her support of certain now-key democratic tenets, like gay marriage, but she moved in step with the party.

Brady Toensing, the lawyer who passed on the information to the FBI, reportedly got his information from Republican State Rep. Don Turner, who told WCAX-TV in Vermont that he heard the information from friends.

According to the report, Turner's friends who recounted the incident to him were working at the bank Sanders allegedly pressured into approving a loan. Turner told WCAX-TV that he wouldn't have shared the information with federal officials.

the key political achievements of liberals in my lifetime have been overseeing the shredding of the welfare state, the destruction of organized labor, financial/industrial deregulation (& all the ensuing chaos, misery and death associated), a permanent massive all-encompassing surveillance state, endless imperial war, and a million other wonderful horrors. idk about you but i don't feel like my life has been particularly enriched by any of those things, and probably there's a large chunk of the population out there that feels similarly.

There's a multitude of reasons Sanders shouldn't run again. I never said the FBI investigation was leading anywhere (neither did Clinton's), but it's a talking point against him that Trump would unceasingly exploit.

And "glee"? I supported Sanders in the primary. Roll back time, I'd do it again. I thought they both would have made exceptional presidents, and they both have exceptional weaknesses as candidates. Age, as you mentioned, being foremost.
