    There's a large part of me that knows that the GoP will let the Trump railroad them anywhere he wants because they can't afford to lose something like 25-35% of their base, but a guy can hope.

    Eh, considering McConnell's recent comments, and republicans' glacial but trending irritation with Trump, I wouldn't be surprised at a 2020 primary challenge.

    Let's not discount the possibility that the Mueller investigation ends in an impeachment recommendation to a Congress with whom Trump has, by that time, lost all good will. In that event, Pence 2020 seems unfortunately likely.

    We'll see how tax reform goes!

    My prediction on Mueller investigation:

    Manafort - Probable jail time
    Don Jr. - small fine
    Trump - cleared

    Kasich or someone may try to primary but they will get wrecked again I'm pretty sure
