The only instance in which she should be allowed to assume the office of President is one where it can be proven that election vote tampering made the difference between her winning the Electoral College and Trump winning it.

Other than that, it's a matter of American citizens being dumb enough to elect Trump, which remains the reality in which we live. We have to face the fact that we as a people elected this idiot in accordance with the rules of the game, and superceding that without direct evidence of tampering would be worse than the alternative. All else is (even more) folly.

I do think it's a rather loaded question to ask. If she isn't showing intentions of doing anything, why even ask unless you are trying to lead the question and create a tempest in a teapot.

You ask because the scope of the interference is a big classified cloud over the investigation and the presidency. If the president quite literally colluded with a foreign power to win an election, that very clearly should raise the question of "what next". And when you ask that question, something on the board of responses might be for the challenger to fight the outcome of the election.

People keep forgetting this shit is dangerously close to complete uncharted territory. There is no status quo on how to respond to this, people are deciding this shit as we go and really just waiting to see what Mueller says.

Because there still isn't a lick of (publicly) known evidence that definitively incriminates the POTUS. And as we've seen time and time again, in spite of the shit show going on around him he's been escaping basically unscathed.

There's a lot of "what did the president know, and when did he know it" that hasn't yet been definitely proven publicly.

I'm inclined to think the president doesn't actually know anything. Like at all. Because he has a degenerative brain disorder. which is actually the biggest cause for concern anyone should have.

I mean from a character standpoint the comparison is apt. But from a competency standpoint...

The fact Trump is so lost may actually work to his benefit here.
