He isn't wrong about Bush's post 9/11 speech, though.
He exceeded expectations.

I had tried to search out any other evidence of internal corruption that would show that the DNC was rigging the system to throw the primary to Hillary, but I could not find any in party affairs or among the staff. I had gone department by department, investigating individual conduct for evidence of skewed decisions, and I was happy to see that I had found none. Then I found this agreement.
The funding arrangement with HFA and the victory fund agreement was not illegal, but it sure looked unethical. If the fight had been fair, one campaign would not have control of the party before the voters had decided which one they wanted to lead. This was not a criminal act, but as I saw it, it compromised the party’s integrity.I discussed the fundraising agreement that each of the candidates had signed. Bernie was familiar with it, but he and his staff ignored it. They had their own way of raising money through small donations. I described how Hillary’s campaign had taken it another step.
I told Bernie I had found Hillary’s Joint Fundraising Agreement. I explained that the cancer was that she had exerted this control of the party long before she became its nominee. Had I known this, I never would have accepted the interim chair position, but here we were with only weeks before the election.
I am so over this. The Dems chose a highly unpopular, easy to attack candidate to run for President. Literally anyone else would have beaten Trump. Admit this simple fact and move the along people. It's time to unfuck yourselves before the next election cycle, not wallow in this Hillary crap forever.
An interesting article...my takeaway is get better at fundraising. Hillary pulled in the money and got the party nomination, Trump used his own money. Bernie never had a chance, hippies sending in crumpled fivers can't compete.
Interesting enough I read an interview with John Boehner where he said he felt the issue with the election was that the Republicans nominated someone who could only win against Hillary while the Dems nominated someone who could only lose against Trump. Literally any other candidate on either side would have fared better (in retrospect) in his opinion.
Another step toward my ascension to the DNC throne. Thank you, schmucks, for continuing to bury yourselves.
I clicked this hashtag and it is not very positive lol

I said in 2008 Hillary would never be President because she'd never win white female voters, no one listened.
My finger is on the pulse of America.
Like, the fact that Obama left the DNC in massive debt and seemingly no plan to pay it off is pretty horrible in of itself.
But then to argue Hillary coming in and buying the DNC wholesale as some sort of corporate entity, then saying "hey man that's totally fair" is just fucking hilarious.
