    This is true, but to be fair the Republicans let money yank them around whereas money buys access, but not votes, from the Democrats. Case in point is Wheeler. Everyone thought Obama putting him for FCC chair meant that the comms had bought Obama out then the dude surprised everyone with super staunch net neutrality decisions.

    Nomiki Konst was on Chapo this week where she explained the context of this which I recommend people listen to, though what she says will probably not surprise people. I think the most shocking thing she had to say was that Raymond Buckley, chair of the NH Democratic Party and vice chair of the DNC told a room full of party members that he had never seen a budget and had no idea where money was being spent.
