Ahh, that makes a lot more sense.

It's going to be awesome when another blue wave sweeps in and the democrats literally can't do anything to pass legislation again.
Pfizer PAC fucking lol.
It's almost like we should get corporate money out of politics.
Nah.
"Lipinski easily won seven terms in the district, which favored Clinton over Trump by 15 points in 2016.
In a rare move against an incumbent member of their own party, two Illinois Democrats -- US Reps. Jan Schakowsky and Luis Gutierrez -- had endorsed Newman. Sen. Bernie Sanders, a Vermont independent, had also thrown his political muscle behind her candidacy.
And former President Barack Obama's campaign aides mobilized against Lipinski, trashing him at a news conference and noting that he'd been the only Illinois Democrat to vote against Obama's signature health care law."
It's almost like Democratic voters don't want to go left.
Maybe.
Roseanne on Jimmy Kimmel: “I’m still the same — you all moved,” she responded, referencing the Democratic Party. “You all went so f—ing far out you lost everybody. I mean, seriously.”
I don't understand that thinking because from where I'm standing the party has only let more and more stuff to the right slide and have gotten almost nothing in return.

To be fair the Dems have progressed quite far socially from the 90s, but economically they remain pretty close to the center in about the same spot Clinton reorganized the party via neoliberal third way triage after its terrible losses from 80-92 due to drifting too far left.
I guess in terms of wanting equal rights but it's hard for me to say they've really gone left when all that's happened is they stopped ignoring marginalized groups the same way Republicans do.

I mean isn't the narrative that Hillary overfocused on social issues and marginalization at the cost of economics and therefore lost susceptible blue collar whites to Trump's snake oil (return of the Reagan Democrats).
There are tradeoffs to any positional shift. Figuring out how to make the biggest tent is tough. That's why segments that insist on purity are problematic. The GOP is aided greatly by the ignorance/hypocrisy of their base in that regard. Tribalism is awesome when its on your side.
It blows my mind how Pelosi keeps saying the dumbest shit imaginable.
This has sent brain parasite twitter into a rage:

That is said on BG all the time

Ya, this whole thread is about that iirc.
"Barack Obama was so insanely charismatic and skillful, that he was able to overcome the DNC's profoundly awful methodologies."
"OMG BERNIE IS ATTACKING OBAMA!"
wut
They can't accept losing.
