that would be the most shitass dem leadership move possible which means they will obviously pursue this. Sanchez is a gifted legislator on a powerful committee. So sick of the dinosaurs running the party.

Centrists sure do love a tyrant in charge.
(Pelosi is the tyrant here, if it's not clear)
No its clear I'm just failing to see the jump in logic. Sure she's a dinosaur who's held office longer than I've been alive but I fail to see why the label Tyrant would make sense.
tyrantasaur
Now you're sounding like Heavencloud.
I mean she seriously is the worst and the moment any other Democrat showed an ability to out-fundraise her I have no doubt the rest of the party would joyously kick her aside.
The levers of power are such that that the San Francisco picks their representative. Its YUGELY democrat thus any possible challenger would have to beat her in a primary.
Following that house democrats elect her to be their minority leader.
I legitimately fail to see how this qualifies her as a Tyrant. Her strategies are bad but a tyrant seems like the wrong label to be applying.
Edit: Because legitimately by your definition any person who's held office for a significant period of time follows that description.
The label applies not to the vehicles which gave her power, but rather the way in which she wields it.
It's also generally worth noting that just because there were elections, they don't mean that it's somehow remotely fair or even democratic.
But feel free to use any other dictator-type label if you feel better about it.
it doesn't, and it is. it's just the typical incendiary rhetoric of an extremist that feels the need to vilify in the strongest manner their political opponents.
i hate Nancy Pelosi as a politician, for most of the reasons you lads do and then the added ones that unlike you lads i actually don't agree with most of her positions. and she is a rough and tumble player in the world of politics. but the tyrants of the world are Bashar al-Assad and Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping. to call the House Minority Leader one speaks only to discrediting the accuser.
right except i'm not a centrist and i don't want her in charge
close tho
And I'm definitely not a centrist and i don't want her in charge.
I mean, you're the ones arguing about inappropriate etymology over the fact that Pelosi wields an insane amount of power over a political party that is being largely beneficial to Donald Trump as opposition, rather than admit that maybe she enjoys dictator-like qualities. Dumb centrism is caring about appearance over method.
But, you do you, Bluegartr. You do you.
China's Xi is a tyrant, I'm glad we're talking about that.
I'd add Erdogan to that list.
