The DNC is investigating the abuse allegations against Ellison.

In its first statement on the allegations against Ellison, the DNC tells NPR: ‘These allegations recently came to light and we are reviewing them. All allegations of domestic abuse are disturbing and should be taken seriously’. … Former DNC communications director Luis Miranda told NPR: ‘The party has no choice but to suspend him at a minimum until they figure out what's going on. That's totally fair. I'm at least optimistic that he might be ok considering no one else has spoken up about him to date that I know of. There doesn't seem to be a pattern of abuse like all these other people defending against #metoo.

Bruh, a woman didn't originally make a claim; it was her son, and his mother was quiet when the story first started circulating. No other women, until archi posted that thread, had come out to display a pattern of problematic behavior. They say they have video evidence of this alleged abuse, and then when pressed say they dont actually have video evidence.

You have to work OT to give them the benefit of the doubt, even though you probably should. Compare this accusation to the many others leveled this year. It smells like shit compared to them but you still believe the woman at the end of the day.
