I binged the season and I can't really say it gets better. Until episode six or seven it reuses the tropes and themes that were introduced in the first season, then the true baddie emerges and the script flips.

I was super excited for this coming back and stayed up late yesterday to watch the first episode and I feel like I got ice bucket poured on me with Mackie's version of Kovach

Kinnaman was so much more enjoyable in the lead role, Mackie just feels like he's just playing Falcon with more cuss words.

on 4th episode, I wish since Kovach is back on his homeworld they would've put him in his original sleeve, I think I like that asian actor better from season 1 than Mackie

Story was not bad, its noticeable how bad Mackie was as Kovachs. The Female leads stole the show for sure, and Poe.
