Don't they have a last minute tournament? They could have had fun with it and just thrown an online tourney for the lulz

Online tourney would have to be isolated to the US and piss off a lot of foreigners. It would be risky, as the winner may not even be able to attend, and it would be last minute. There is a Last Chance Qualifier, but I kind of like the "winner take all" approach for it.

That sucks, I'd hope his win last year would have been enough to get him out of the depression, granted depression is more complicated than I could imagine. I hope he's OK.

I think I'm going to be real, real dumb and re-install SFV soon, in hopes that AE actually has some hidden "fix everything" adjustments. Haven't played this shit since the 2nd week it came out, other than downloading and fucking with Ibuki for 30 minutes when she dropped, out of respect.

Redbull is somehow sponsoring a tournament 30 minutes from my house this weekend. There's something like 12 people pre-registered so I figured I'd give it a go just to scrub hunt. I'll be online tonight if you want to get rekt.

I'd rather not invite the champ. I think if the champ is so good, getting tour points should be no problem? It's not like winning the championship doesnt have enough perks as it is.
