We actually have pretty crazy competition this year for a regional in Chicago in the middle of winter. Dogura and GO1 in from Japan, pretty much every US GG killer in attendance, SF has Du/KBrad/Krone. Marvel bracket is insanely stacked, though some players can't get in Friday night so we had to scrap a couple exhibitions like KBR vs RyanLV.

Melee will never be dropped as long as money is still green. SRK can stash them on Saturday until the end of time.

Seems like a slap in the face to "drop" Marvel in what will be its last year of eligibility, but whatever. The end result will likely be Marvel back in its Sunday slot for 2017, as it should be.

I hope the kids enjoy their fun, because 2018 is going to be The Marvel Show.

Theres also people donating solely because it's a pokemon/nintendo game, who don't even have any intention of watching. It's made its way around various related subreddits with people making threads to beg for donations.
