I said people. That should be enough.
U rite. my bad
Oh I'd imagine many would be against it and would refuse. But I'd also imagine there would still be some planes/airlines for people who don't give a shit about that. So while they flying their old jalopies I'll be laughing from my space plane... assuming the price point/service gets reasonably close. If we can ever get it cheaper.... well most people that aren't going specifically to places like WH buy the cheaper same quality produce and ignore the organic signs. Also when we getting frankburgers!?!
Such optimism, lol
Pretty sure nuclear-powered flight would be prohibitively expensive.
Ya'll shoulda been planning your underground self sustaining megalopolis like me. Allow me to illustrate.
Spoiler: show
I see you have brought the Dhalmel to life; good job there.
I am a collector of only the finest species.
After reviewing it, not much has changed since the OP.
I'd probably hedge my "trade winds will die" prediction in the "Future" section of the OP a bit, because the evidence for that isn't great, but otherwise we're more or less we're still in the same place.

6,000 square KM iceberg splits from Antarctica.
We can't even get republicans to support solar over coal. What makes you think they'll get on board anything else?
Lamar Smith: Polar Ice Caps Melting is a Good Thing, Increased Shipping Laneshttp://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/...b0e201d577466d“Also, as the Earth warms, we are seeing beneficial changes to the earth’s geography,” he writes. “For instance, Arctic sea ice is decreasing. This development will create new commercial shipping lanes that provide faster, more convenient, and less costly routes between ports in Asia, Europe, and eastern North America. This will increase international trade and strengthen the world economy.”
Was talking to gym people about climate change last night in the wee twilight hours, ended up getting a potential in with a group that is heading to Antarctica in august as a result. I have never been more hype in my life. Just wanted to gush.
Also above article is basically why Russia has the lowest negative view of climate change of any country on earth im fairly sure.
Honestly, aside from the whole refugee crisis that will result, Russia actually gets it good with a warmer earth. There might be horrors frozen under the ice that gets unearthed, but aside from that they honestly get it good I think lol.

I can't find a link to it, but Pod Save America put out a short episode with Al Gore as part of his Inconvenient Sequel promotions.
The man is so smart, but just so boring. He hit on economics, advertising, tech developments, politics, international relations, psychology, etc. but he slipped into his monotonedrone a few times and it was hard to pay attention to him.
What I am saying is, I almost forgive you for climate change, y2k voters. Your lizard brains just couldn't handle him.
He's not wrong, just boring.
Eh, he's always been kind of an idiot about nuclear power.
