Rankings and stuff are up on the FFRK website. I don't know what this means for anni since I haven't been keeping but top 5 chars were cloud squall lightning terra and seph (lol), osbs were finishing touch, scorching flames, thunderfall, subzero blast and energy rain (fine whatever), vessel of fate asylum paladin force (why) white materia (why?!) and divine ruination (why?!!!!); ssbs were indomitable (GOOD), shout (good) onion slice (not so good) miracle veil and sheepsong (I have 4 of those 5......), and top skills were chain firaga (???), ultra cure (?), full charge full break and powerchain. Top 4 stars were ruinga, protectga, shellga, lifesiphon and wrath.

I'd swear that full break should have beat at least chain firaga. I'm happy to see wrath finally getting its due.

hmm, probably won't bother with ultros beyond the freebie, only things i really want off of there are tidus OSB and OK BSB (and can easily live without either of them). the burst selection is so uneven in quality it's absurd, lol.

I'm guessing many super casuals just voted on characters they know with no knowledge of how useful the SBs themselves are, so whatever I guess.

In JP, the ultros banner format was top 4 OSBs, top 4 BSBs, and top 3 SSBs so if we get the same format Tidus OSB, Agrias BSB, Krile SSB2, and Yuna SSB2 wouldn't make the cut. First pull should be free with unlimited full price pulls after.

Ehh the Pecil Burst is pretty good for damage against Holy weak mobs. 5 hits, with either a 1 hit holy dmg & heal or 2 hit non ranged aoe holy damage.

If that's the GL format I'm gonna have all the SSBs, half of the Bursts and one OSB. Not gonna bother beyond the free pull, as planned (please gimme waifu OSB!).
Anyway ability list was apparently incorrect and has now been updated... winners are:
-5* skills: Bahamut (yay), Full Break (ok?);
-4* skills: Syldra, Lifesiphon.

I've been thinking about getting back to XI to finish the WOTG and other expansions I never did except I'm 99% sure my character's lost to the sands of time so I'd have to start over again. Just thinking about the grind makes my eyes water.

As for the Ultros Banner voting, its like they took the results and added a "Not so fast, kids!" item just to fuck around. Thunderfall and Paladin Force. One is silly because it needs to be chained to have any potency, and the other is just so vastly outdated as a BSB. Aerith BSB and Onion Knight SSB are also surprises on the list, but hey ill take a free shot at OK's BSB and Blood Sword.

Hopefully, if they're going to start straight changing abilities after the fact (Ultima, Neo Bahamut) they can go back and alter some SB's (like Healing Grimoire) to not suck.

i played like two summers ago, exp is no longer a grind. took both new jobs to 99 in like two weeks playing fairly casual, and at 99 you can solo pretty much everything (can solo new stuff too depending on job)

Lightning is always high in character rankings so it isn't surprising to see her OSB here (I'm quite sure it wasn't even an option in JP or she would've ranked there as well, it was on one of the banners instead), Paladin Force is also far from outdated due to the Enholy buff and Aerith is a popular character from a popular realm I agree that OK's SSB is surprising to see, was hoping for Krile's Sheepsong instead of another dupe but whatever.

The final results seem plausible, though I certainly wouldn't rule out the possibility of it being rigged to keep the banner from being too high quality in relation to the fest banners. Each person had 3 picks, and for informed players there was an overwhelming consensus for Y'shtola and Onion BSBs, hence their ranking. There wasn't much of a consensus on a third pick, which most likely resulted in it being split among the other great items like Vaan, Vanille, Eiko, Maria, etc with none of them gaining enough traction to make the cut vs casuals who most likely just picked 3 characters they like.

Dude fuck that noise have you even used Onion Slice? DEF/RES down? That shit is awesome, plus it does up to 10-11 hits of 1500-3000 damage, which makes it an easy 20-30k.

Yeah but that totally depends on your other OK relics. If you have his Burst you're using him as a mage.
