I have Leon's BSB. I could never find a slot for him even as an A team substitute. Also ended up pulling Seifer's BSB during Fujin #1 so Leon on the bench nearly forever. Heck I haven't unlocked his MC3 either. Maybe if I had Hand of the Emperor I would change my mind.

For Physical I go Cloud (99), Ramza (99), Vanille (99), Tyro (99) with my fifth slot being a floater between Leon, Lightning, Pecil, Cid, or Agrias based on need and boss weakness.

A team mages: Some mix of Quistis, rosa/ysh (bssbs), kururu, indom celes/tyro/hope/vivi/entrust bot (and throwing vayne in there because I have +40% dark gear in xii and v; maybe fusoya with dark imperil too)
A team phys: Some mix of rosa/ysh, ramza, enelement/imperil combo or stack (wind: zidane/zack; fire: sabin/locke; holy: min/ag/locke; dark: puddleman/vayne).

Gordon and arc are going to go in there if I don't need bssbs.

I have two enice ssbs but no bssbs. Tides of fate balt and aqua breath are my only water soul breaks and my only lightning sb is DOUBLECAST LIGHTNING. Also need to make another wrath or two with all these sup 4s I'm stacking up.

physical a-team is usually something like:

cloud: BSB2, OSB, wind+40% gear, full RD
faris: BSB, imperil wind, AoE reverse wall, full RD
master: BSB, lifebane, 5/6 RD complete (fuck that vitality node branch)
eiko: BSB

and then a flex slot. i can toss in tyro for SG, ramza for shout, or whatever the situation calls for.

mage team is usually consists of

damage is 2 of: alphinaud, ashe, rydia (BSB) terra (SSB+OSB combo)
haste/mag boost: krile or papalymo
healer is usually yshtola

and then slot 5 is either BSB2 yuna for backup heals and summons, or tyro for SG + support skills

Gonna do a hard pass on this fest.

They took the relics I have and spread them pretty well throughout all 5 banners. The couple banners that have shit I want (thundergod for example) are diluted by good consolation prizes, but ones I already have (like agrias/alph bsb). Banner 3 I really want shura gloves, but don't care for anything else on the banner (Cid Raines is a huge consolation prize, but I already have), etc.

My physical A Holy elemental team has been a bit boring lately since the fights always go the same way. I'm working on making multiple teams to hold their own because of that.

Really wish I could fit refia in, maybe when more sharpshooter abilities are out I can rep zidane or something. Too much monk.

Anyway, my thoughts on relic banners:

1: meh too many dupes. Praying to 100 gem Maria or edge
2: tempting. Tidus and Faris look good, and are at least awesome stat sticks with good effects. Also really eyeing shantotto here. Rest is all decent but not amazing. Only dupe is minfilia.
3: oh boy. Might pull here. Love butz (teehee) but he's gotten no love in global for me, aside from his old ass cape. Not amazing but would like. Also cid! And relm bsb. Kind of wishing I hadn't pulled refia yesterday. Ah well. Sheepsong is also a good consolation prize.
4: 3 osbs. Tempted to pull for stat sticks. Consolation prizes look like crap, though. Having the option of agrias and tgc would be cool, and could probably put a holy Trinity relatively easy, but I think meh.
5: easiest pass of my life as half the banner is dupes.

Looking after the fest, I might go crazy on the xi event. I really want shantotto relics. Both of em. Not that crazy about the rest of the banner. With my luck I'll get prishe stuff cause I don't have enough monks.

Besides that, the tactics event looks good. Want me some Rafa. Would go great with shantotto. Build me a lightning mage team.

Edit2: just looked at the extremefest. Holy shit abort mission. Think I'll pass on all these banners and try to coast on 100 gems and lucky draws. Hopefully they don't change too much, since they sent to be elemental based, but god damn all my mythril!

Yeah, thats including what we have coming. Lucky Draws had me down to 130 something, so with the extra apology mythril I should hit 250 midway through phase 2. That'll allow me to start saving for DU Lucky.
