I only noticed x25 - 5* motes in my inbox today... but it said 20. Did I get bamboozled? I do not know how many motes I had of the 3* and 4* but I just seen they gave 50 of each 3 and 4?

It should have been 25x of each 5*, 4* and 3* mote (15 items total), 5x special daily mythril, apology mythril, daily mythril, daily login, and RW gil for 20 items total.

if i dont care at all for FF13 or lightning, but still want the top tier magic DPS in rains claw, should I pull on this banner, or wait for fest banner?

im leaning toward fest banner for it....

This banner is good to pull since it is the first to feature 2 6* relics and has 3 pretty good bursts on it. Plus if you need synergy, no time but the present to start pulling. I'm puling since I have a single dupe out of the bunch and it has good grand prizes.

is the mote supply for 5* going to be similarly bottlenecked as the 4* ones are? e.g., all characters require dexterity and/or vitality, which are also severely restricted in supply?

You are basically going to be able to dive 2 sets of people at a time as long as they don't share the motes. Here's a pic of the spread.



With my plans, I will be doing a full dive for Ysh and then either Edge or Celes. I want to do Agrias but she needs spirit motes and that's going to Ysh.

Generally no, we get motes with each new event and even more will be coming soon with the Jump Start addition to Torment dungeons. It's also unclear whether Global will have CMs for these battles (both event and Torment types) right away or follow JP and those give additional motes. However we are skipping the Rematch bosses apparently (at least for now) and those gave quite a few motes

yes, papalymo's is just +MAG(which will stack with any other MAG+something-else buffs) while raines' is MAG/DEF. similarly, you can also stack OK BSB/deployment tactics or the other MAG/ATK variants with both of them.

yup, this will def be my first DPS upgrade path as well. 38% 2x spellblade with the LM + RM is gonna be insane.

Ysh is an easy pick for me but not sure who else. Yda and vincent have good RDs but I don't have enelement for vince and yda's bssb is only okay.

Ok, so, I'm trying to decide if I should pull on Banner 1 of this 13 event or not. As cool as it is, after some recommendations I have decided Banner 2 isn't worth it. Vanille's LM would be awesome, but it's the ONLY thing that I care about on there.

Here is basically what I am interested in, in Banner 1. If I pulled either Lightning's BSB or USB the way my melee PT works now she would be a straight up replacement for Agrias, and Agrias would become a substitute for Lightning in case I can't use thunder on the boss or actually need a tank.

Cid R the only thing I would be interested in is his BSB. With that, he would actually be an upgrade to my mage PT since he stacks with Ley Lines.

Anything past that would just be more help for CM's.

My synergy in 13 is pretty solid for melee charaters, mage stuff is kind of low though. I have Vanille's USB staff and a Witch's Hat, enough to gear out my healer, but not really anything for other mages.

Do you think this gives me enough reason to pull on Banner 1?
