So i'm 1.5 (2.5 after tonight) DU's behind. So thats 40 mythril coming my way over the next few days.

Someone talk me out of making an attempt at the Ice CSB on the FFVIII banners. Still aiming for FFV medica and eventually 2nd best girl Meliadoul.

I'm actually still thinking about banner 2. Wind magic for future golem magicite, armors with earth wind and lightning up (and raijins ssb is fantastic) and the bssbs are all good. Worst items might be the osb and rinoa's buildup LMR. Problem is it's a very safe banner but nothing gamechanging like the chase attack ultras. And I don't need VIII syn.

Problem with V medica is that next V event is I think bartz ultra? Which only has lenna's ssb heal on banner 2 (and I think banner 2 is far inferior to banner 1).

Oh it is, but not having a medica in V has stopped me from being able to do the CM for torment as both shared medicas and 2 healers put me just short in the tail end. The other side of that, of course, if my offensive presence in V is Greg's BSB Krile BSB + Sheepmode, Faris's imperil wind and Bartz en-wind SSB. So anything in V is a decent improvement.

Krile ends up having to do too much and fights where Greg's BSB doesn't shine means it ends up doing slightly better than "okay".

Healing for FF5 CM is fine with a RW if you have enough DPS pieces. Did the Greg Apoc fight with RW Asylum and didn't bring native haste. Roll banner 1 and hope you make God-Bartz.

Also ice chain is a small luxury since you have to slot Rinoa with BSB2 Squall/Celes and the like. And she doesn't bring much besides adding to the chain.

I'm assuming V D200 CM (don't remember if V dropped yet for us)? I cleared with various x-death sb/ssbs (endark and damage sb, mag/res up and ST damage, magic blink and AOE damage) and sheepsong using celes RW+titan on kururu IIRC. No medica did indeed suck. Bartz might be able to do something similar with the enwind and cloud usb (he can steal power so his attack isn't an issue). Gilgamesh is so....bad. But my experience with him is usb.

V has so few characters to make stuff work, it's annoying. A little better now but still limited in white maging.
