IMHO the only real way these are great is if they're the usual 10 mythril per event from the old days (30 total) without including the 25 mythril from login we're getting.

I question the approach in holding a "newcomer event" in a 2 year old gacha game (pretty old at 1 year, ancient by 2) that has never received the developers full attention.

Yay for the mythril, and yeah I probably won't use it. Still doesn't make much sense to me to do something like this. Really does seem like an interns summer project that they wanted to give a gold star to.

Just angry that DeNa deemed this a good use of resources instead of something the game actually USES and has inhibited some event inclusion and strats for a while such as Bard motes, or even far enough back as the core SB's we never got.

Well I'll enjoy the extra mythril at least, more pulls for XV (and Bartz next month)!
But yeah, lack of 6* relics in these means I'm skipping hard. I really don't need any bursts for these realms, especially if we're throwing in all Uniques.

USBs/OSBs would sure be a lot more useful for newcomers than old ass outdated relics that might as well have default SBs attached

Exactly - this is absurd. If we can't laugh at them hyping potentially ridiculously old relics what can we laugh at? (And besides I'm pretty sure beginners are going to need top end gear to make up for hones, as opposed to stuff like Braver?)

what does everyone think about ramza's legend dive? is the buff enhancement at the end worthwhile? i've already fully dived cloud + squall so for physical characters i have 2 completely busted DPS, i dunno who to do next. ramza seems like a decent choice since i have shout/BSB/USB and that would make juggling them all a lot easier, but i dunno if it'd be worth holding out for a support like faris' record dive instead or something.

Faris is gonna be completely useless in magicite dungeons, just like any support with debuff heavy SBs. Ramza is viable in all content.
