Definitely gotta say that not having the ability to revisit tutorials is a gigantic fuckup. With as many fucking systems this game throws at you, not being able to look back if you forgot something is dumb.
Just got stuck trying to grab some coins in a corner after I opened a chest in that top corridor area in the central hub. Got scared shitless because I hadn't saved yet since I started, but was unable to unfuck the game after a few minutes. It was almost a soft-lock type deal cuz it wouldn't even let me go to the menu. Be careful trying to grab shit in suspect corners, this game seems to have wonky collision detection.
Agreed. I skipped part of a tutorial by mistake during an early fight after I got my blade. Noticed I had a prompt telling me to hit A only to have a Tutorial pop up and skip the first bit of it.
Wishful thinking but I hope they'll patch in a Tutorial section into the game or something.
GD, this game has customization on top of customization. If you get your butt kicked, you're going to have to re-equip to the specific situation. Blades seem to come from various 'loot boxes' and even rare loot boxes may contain a normal blade and vice versa. Also
Spoiler: show
Regarding combat, looks like they really don't want you to fight everything you come across as there are a ton of enemies in the various areas between you and objectives, and it would take for freaking ever to clear out place like you normally would, at least later in the game. There's also nothing preventing you from being knocked off a cliff/narrow ledge, so you really can't fight at some locations. Some of the bosses have ridiculous HP amounts; I watched one battle where the boss had to have a few million HP, and auto attacks were only doing 1K damage each, but basically regenerated that damage as well. Special combo attacks did 350Kish, and a decent chunk came off, but man, that fight took a while to complete.
Apparently there's no monster/item compendium either, which is gonna be a pita if the quests don't highlight specific mobs and/or areas to find things.
There was an imgur compendium of the tutorials, but apparently it got deleted, so this will have to do:

Let me know if you have any specific questions; I think I have almost everything down.
Pro-tip: If you want to quickly charge your arts (but maybe sacrifice some DPS), strafe slightly left/right as soon as your first auto-attack lands, repeatedly, and you'll rapidly do your first (weak) auto-attack.
Also, the auto-attack +20% damage accessory is fairly broken early on, when they're the majority of your damage.
Another tip: Equip any luck accessories you come across before bonding blade cores, because luck increases your chances of getting a rare blade.
KOS-MOS get (from a common core no less)
This might help some people with combat systems:

I have to read more about blade combos they are hard to understand
Also can you switch blade between drivers ?
Like can pyra be used on another driver ?
Afail there is no way to switch blades between character, especially not the story ones.
There is a way with a rare item called an overdrive protocol, but yeah, not for storyline blades. So far at Ch3, I have 2.
Finished chapter 1 last night and loving it so far. I do agree not being able to revisit tutorials is an oversight
Getting rekted with rex alone in the chapter 2 city quests have mobs in team![]()
Normal I can’t equip a 3rd blade on Rex? Is it tied to the story?
