yeah i'm not a super fan of the tiger tiger game
I know the Boreas quest goes thru Indol, but I had already finished by that point so I'm not sure if it affects it.
Yeah, I just use Rex, Nia, and Morag. I do okay at Tiger Tiger, I just don't feel like grinding it for as long as you probably need to to make Tora good.
Curious how the easy mode coming on Friday will help with Tiger Tiger grinding though.
About twenty hours in to this. Pretty good so far. English voices are terrible compared to the first game. Have it on Japanese, but that leads to my first of two questions.
Do some boss/event fights have specific dialog during battle? Pretty sure XC did. Subtitles only appear in cut scenes so I wouldn't want to miss anything.
I know boosters help add a chance of a certain element to whatever blade you get, but what does the amount of boosters do? Will more help your chances at a rare blade?
Thanks.

There's still the post battle banter between party members and blades. I think the only thing you may be missing out on is when the enemy becomes enraged and their elemental weakness change gets pointed out by Azurda. Not sure about the boosters, I always thought more just increased the chances that the 3 random blades will be the boosted elements.
I don't think the internet is 100% on how boosters work.
My understanding is that with the stats boosters offer (Justice, Bravery, etc) you have a total chance of 100% to summon any element of blade. Your current stat in relation to the others is weighted against that 100% total figure to decide which elements in the booster pool you pull from.
So say you have total stats of 17 between the 4, with a Justice stat of 6. You would have a base 35% rate to pull a Light or Dark blade. Using 5 Justice boosters against that same statline, would bring you to a Justice stat of 11 with total stats of 22 making it a 50% chance to summon a Light or Dark blade.
Boosters only seem to have a role in the element of the blade summoned, while rarity of the core crystal and possibly your luck stat increases rate of unique blades.
I did get Percival on #4 last night, and ran Vess on Nia while I'm unlocking Ursula's rank 5. Is there another good blade for #4, or should I just wait for their next blade?
Is there a set number of key items needed to get for 5k fans? This is just tedious since I can either use Ursula and not unlock lvl 5, or keep her in mercenary purgatory and have to use another healer on Nia. Thankfully Vess and Ursula share bitballs.
It's not so much that Boosters increase the chance of a specific element but more that your Idea level in that category adds a weight to the chance of that element appearing so by proxy boosting that group will put a bigger weight on those elements. Overall Idea growth increases your chance at a Rare blade so even if you are fishing for a Rare that's not the element booster you have you should still use them since by boosting one category you are boosting your overall score as well.
Like a lot of the other obtuse mechanics in the game it seems to have a minimal effect on your chances of either element or Rares but it's not like it hurts your chances so no reason not to use them if you have them and you will get a truckload of them when you start really grinding for Rares since you'll have 5000 Generics to dismiss who give 2-3 Boosters every time.
I hated doing chapter 7; worst part of the game, by far, from how to navigate the dungeons, to how you're crippled due to story elements on Rex. Last boss fight was really bad, what with the incoming damage and CC, the later of which wouldn't be prevented by anything I tried to equip. Had to level up with some bonus exp to even it out, but the worst part was trying to figure out how to put a third party member back in; why it would think I'd want less then three is something beyond me, seeing as the game always put in the max people before.
Wow the ending of chapter 5 really cranks the story up to 11
The entire narrative of the series changes at that point, and it completely goes off the rails in chapter 7. Fairly similar to XC1 really.
Off the rails in a good or bad way?
And I rolled Kos Mos on Morag at the start of chapter 5... feels good since I guess kos mos is pretty good on her or nia
Why is KOS-MOS good on the tank or healer? Or are you not rolling that way?
I thought because of their high ether stat if you wanted to make either a hybrid. Rex has a low ether stat and he doesn’t get break on kos mos. only option is to move her to Zeke when I get him? Who are you all giving kos mos to?
No one, Ether Cannons suck
I wouldn't bother with putting KOS MOS on a tank tho. At least for a tank you want to stack as much as possible for the aggro bonuses so you can keep mobs held in place for positional attack bonuses.
Ether cannons are best used on Zeke, because he actually has access to Break with them.
That said, KOS-MOS will inevitably overlap elements with Mythra, so use at your own discretion. Obviously anything is viable, but won't be ideal, since Mythra can already easily do Light - Light - Light chains solo.
