Beat the game, fucking loved it, however i have a question about a certain RNG blade:

So after a certain point in the game, i can't access the Fief of Forgetfulness in Mor Ardain, that area has a unique that is required for Zenobia's chart, am i shit out of luck?

Its most likely just the cloudsea level. Theres an indicator for it next the time time of day, just rest in an inn till its below the line.

Finished Chapter 6 last night and my thoughts

It anime'd so hard with the whole "villain you have beaten multiple times unleashing full power and decimating your group," breaking the MC's will and blaming him for all the Damage the vbad guy did to the heroine."

I also don't get it, isn't Malos supposed to be god tier like Pyra/Mythra? Why is it Jin seems more OP than all of them and he is just a normal blade. Or does it have to do with his altered core crystal that they will probably explain in the next chapter or so?

Should I just rush through Chapter 7, for reasons, and catch up on side stuff I may have missed in Chapter 8?

Locked forever, some of the stuff from there has moved other places like the merc missions but any quests there are permanently missed and are gone until they add new game+ I guess.

There's only a couple of missable quests, none of which are interesting. The area's development level is rolled into Leftheria, and various NPCs/vendors are relocated to other towns.

There may be a blade or two whose affinity chart(s) are affected in some way, but I imagine they have alternatives. None of the blades whose affinity charts require certain development levels count the lost area.

Was finally able to get back into this today, which felt good. Making my way through Chapter 8, but, doing some side-quests first, namely the Merc LvL5 stuff. I've almost got Usula done too, but cock-blocked on the latest concert mission by not having a third rare blade with Fortitude, so I'm going to have to pull from my cores and hope for Gorg to be able to complete her shit, unless it can be randomly found on common blades.....

Pretty sure it was rare blade only. The "quest chain" to complete her was so ridiculous compared to everyone else, I have no idea what they were thinking. x.x

I ended up overshooting how many of those key items you get for finishing them since there's no mention of when you've actually reached level 4, and the level 4 mercenary mission doesn't actually mean you're level 4 in that particular area.. I was on Vocals 3 in the merc listing when I had level 4 Vocals at the NPC. Basically, by the time the level 4 bounty unlocked, I was level 6 in whatever.

You don't need new merc missions. Ranks just increase from collecting stamps. Keep spamming them.

Just wait till you gotta build up 5000 fans. The merc mission spam is endless.

Yeah, the Ursula slog is just terrible. You need 99 of each stamp AND to complete a special concert in most of the areas to reach 5000 fans. YMMV, but I found the 2 stamp merc missions to be more efficient than the 3 stamp ones because I could get the timer down to like 4 minutes from blade skills.

Good news is that spam alone got me 75% of Rank 4-> 5 by the time it was done.

Up into Chapter 8 now, but paused to clear out old merc missions and story quests.

How did yall deal with Wulfric's quests? I'm like level 60, and the mobs are 52, and I'm getting WRECKED.

I feel like this is the point level wise in Xenoblade where correct party setup meant more than level difference, but also the point where you could take on enemies higher than you with the correct set-up. Am I wrong?

What is written on Pyra's chest in true form? I looks like it's meant to be Greek or Latin "Nueva" or something, but theres one too many letters. It's "Nveuua" with some stylized letters. Is it explained later?

It's Pneuma, and more specifically you learn about her true name in Chapter 10 along with more massive plot dumps. Also in case you were curious the phrase below her name says "Iustorum autem semita quasi lux splendens procedit et crescit usque ad perfectam diem" which is a Bible verse from Proverbs 4:18 "The path of the righteous is like the light of dawn that grows brighter until the full light of day." Just further adding to the not too subtle religious overtones of the Xeno games, especially if you play in Japanese.

For Wulfric's shit just run away from everything that's not quest related (I'm assuming you're talking about the one in Tantal). The quest mobs themselves are much lower level, no idea why they put the quest in an area with such high level shit roaming around.
