I ended up giving everything to Nia. Rex can use any acquired blade at a point, and Tora only has his 3. Made the choice really easy since I had no plans to use the others. I couldn't find synergy between Nia/Tora and Morag, and Rex is straight up stronger than Zeke in every situation so far.

I ended up being really happy that I starved Rex in the end. NG+ rolling around so I'll probably try something different next time.

O god this, i’m trying to get that armu to 99 now, i think i have 4 more RNG blades to go, including kos-mos, this game loves to eat my legendary crystals with a stupid common cat.

Stopped to clean up side quests (and try to get all rare blades to lvl 4) in Chapter 7.

Trying to gauge if I should go and finish the game, or just keep doing what I'm doing. Lvl 62 or so right now, and still have to Tiger Tiger enough ether to finish the last 2 Poppi's.

Get him to 70% for the forced CS
After that get him 4 Elemental Orbs Pop Pneuma then Chain him and he's almost guaranteed to be dead

Is he considered a machine by any chance? Was going to equip some aux cores on Rex/Nia/Tora to increase damage against machines

I try not to use that method too much cuz it's too OP but If not (spoiler about final boss mecanics)

At around 20% he has a mecanic that you are 10000% sure to die unless

1) You chain attack
2) You have an ability on Tora that lets him survive with 1 HP and hope he come raise you before he dies

200+ hours in and I've just barely started chapter 7. Granted, a good 50 hours or so of that is just idle time waiting for merc missions to finish, but still.....
Hard to tell if having so...many...freaking...things to do is good or not.

I'll never tire of Nia though - her voice acting is simply God tier. My favorite is putting her in slot 3 after Morag:

Was going with the second method, but I think he popped a CD cause he ended with 2K hp anyways.

Really wish I realized you could crystallize poppi pieces to get ether crystals earlier >.>;

Is it just me or could the Conduit be something like the Zohar? It seems to have limitless energy and is shaped the same. Xenosaga world could be just another one of those countless Dimensions Klaus mentioned.

Is it just me or could the Conduit be something like the Zohar? It seems to have limitless energy and is shaped the same. Xenosaga world could be just another one of those countless Dimensions Klaus mentioned.

It's likely the Conduit is the Zohar. There felt like a lot of re-occuring themes to xenosaga. A lot of the humanoid enemies in the city of Morytha look a lot like the gnosis from xenosaga. The final city has the church and seemingly close geography to Miltia's Febronia's Church. I'll have to play through saga again but it did feel like I was working through post-xenosaga at some times. Like Xenosaga then a split to XC & XC2, timeline wise.

Just finished it not too long myself. Not too bad of a game but it feels like a mixed bag where they did an amazing job in a lot of areas, but also quite a few spots where there could be a lot more improvement.
