I'm extremely glad I purchased this. I'm like 10 hours in and got it Saturday which for me is huge. I was worried the game wouldn't hook me and it would be like another Tales game where I start, think 'meh', and put it down. All I want to do is go home and play more.

If they let you keep the rare blades you've pulled, then I'm in. Being able to use Kosmos, from the start, would be a lot of fun, among other combos, because until I get all rare blades, I feel locked into driver combos with Rex, to farm cores.

Put the beat down on Cloud Sea King Ken (L110 Unique) with my 77-76 party in full Drive Combo setup. He really wasn't all that hard, despite the level difference, and only became a hassle around 40% HP or so. By then, I had all but wind orbs up and did a full break combo on him to kill him with some Overkill. Picked up 5 Moom Matter Chips and several Gold Modern Medals (absorb 17% crit damage), so, a good haul. I'll have to try the 100 NM back in Torigoth again and see if it still kicks me arse; only 2 more rare blades to pull and one quest blade left in my collection.

I'm hype to start a NG+ since I got a new TV and wanted the experience again on it. Knowing I won't be hearing "THINK YOU CAN TAKE ME! DON'T FORGET ME!" only adds to that hype. That shit was absolutely terrible.

I just hope it's worth doing and has even a little payoff content for doing it. I didn't even finish the superbosses cause I figured I'd wait for NG+. Trying really hard to hold off on that season pass until that "additional story" stuff comes along. Wary of giving them $30 for nothing but potential.

Nothing I'd really wish I'd known besides Rex's ability to use any blade given to any character after a point in the story. There's not really any point to giving him any in the long run. I chose not to and was happy I didn't. Depends on how much you use Rex, I guess.

I would give Rex a couple of blades, like the Inherited and Beast Core, just so he's not completely dead weight in a later chapter; that or summon a couple on him. Overdrives are pretty rare, though once you get legendary cores, your supply will increase substantially as fully developing them gives one.

Fully developing and releasing 4 crown blades gives one to be very specific.
