You don't understand how RNG works.
But I know this from FFRK.
But when you say RNG is RNG that makes an implication that the chances don't change and it's just everyone is getting different results due to randomness. If that's not what you meant to say, then don't say RNG is RNG.
No shit. But that part has no bearing on the fact that your chances still get worse.
1/11 Cid USB (when you have everything else on the banner) is the same thing as 1/1 Legendary Core Crystal for your last rare blade.
You got lucky with the RNG, yes. But your chance at non-dupes (or hitting a rare blade) does down a fair amount for every item you already have on the banner.
If you're 1/14 on a FFRK banner or have none of the wind blades that you're chasing, chances of getting one is pretty high. For every wind blade you already have, that chance shrinks and eventually becomes very low if its the last rare blade you need.
But yes, RNG is RNG.
At this point I don’t see the need to really get more rates as I actually pulled all of the ones I wanted. I’m almost 100 hours into this game and am getting more ready to be done with it. It’s amazing and I could easily do another 100 but I got more games to play!
Other than KOS-MOS i never really had any blades I wanted to get. So it sucked extra that she was the last one. I would've just enjoyed the game entirely more without the RNG part.

Double
That's pretty cool. I'm almost definitely in column 3 then with a small chance I'm in column 2.
Also damn this game. I just want to be done and am climbing the chapter 8 dungeon, but yesterday I was like "Oh, I can finally finish that Nopon quest" and got sidetracked for hours =\
I'm rather sure I'm column 2
Hahaha those KOS-MOS numbers. A sub-1% pull even if you max out your chances.
This also suggests that spamming rare cores for pulls is still worthwhile even after you can farm legendary cores, since they drop much more frequently.
Now the only thing I'm curious about is whether the silhouettes that pop up when you use a core crystal are related at all to the rolls or are simply there to tease the player when they don't get a rare.
I have 0 doubt my Bros file is Column 1. His first 3 rares were all the ones in column 1 lol.
This game had to have had a $$ based GACHA system before they nixed it. Theres no other reason to make someone like KOS-MOS so rare.
I doubt it. Was probably intended to keep people playing and being rewarded past the main story, since theres content up to level like 120 and the story takes would naturally fall off around level 70~80 unless you just never did it.
I'd be more inclined to believe you if I had any idea of a game that decided to just remove the prospect of printing money without some huge backlash to give it a push.
There's no sense of reward from frustrating RNG based acquistion.
