Same. The complete lack of older characters (and their inevitable future as paid DLC) practically guarantees I won't buy it, sadly.

Their justification for that was complete nonsense lol. "If we included characters from previous games, we'd end up with too many sword-users!" *proceed to add a handful of newly created sword users, in addition to the half-dozen Fates sword users, rather than people like Hector, Ephraim, Celica, etc*

That's because it is. You were basically tired of these after Musou Warriors 3, over 14 years ago. A buddy at work got annoyed at me when I shut down his FE hype by explaining that, but it is what it is. I'd be pissed if they brought back Ogre Battle or Tactics Ogre in this genre, because its not the real thing.

I can see why FE fans are annoyed when they want a real FE on a main console, not a Musou Warriors paid Mod with FE skins.
