And how much did the GOP spend to retain a dark fucking red district?
Some people here don't have perspective.

So who's excited for Republicans fucking the sick by taking $800b from them and giving it to the rich?
A lot less than the DNC? A lot less of a % of their total coffers compared to the DNC?
There was absolutely zero tangible success to be found here, unless this further movtivates the mysterious "energized base" there was no point to this other than to pat some dems on the back and say they lost but they won in another way.
Yeah, okay.
I declare myself the real winner with my "loses by 6" prediction.
I looked at zero model or polls and pulled a number from my ass.
We truly live in a post-reason society.
It's a huge gut punch to dems. GA06 was their line in the sand. They spent unprecedented money to not only lose the election, but to lose by more than some elections where they spent next to nothing.
GA06 should tell dems pretty clearly that they need to do a much better job of recruiting candidates.
Inc debate about whether he was too liberal or too conservative
Plot twist, actually that district is just home to a bunch of people who vote with their vaginas. God laughs at us all again
The jim halpert face really says it all.

March is not a recent poll, but if you plotted the data you'd see the trendline going towards Handel in the polls leading up to the election, ending with her the +0.2 favorite after Ossoff peaked at an aggregated +4.2 in late-May. there is nothing especially surprising in the result given the data. there was significant movement toward Handel in the weeks leading up to the contest and clearly that continued in the unpolled time period immediate before election day and on election day itself.
Replying to panda is a waste of time, but the spending was pretty even if you consider outside groups.
