Had been saving up orbs since after I pulled Takumi. Rolled the dice and pulled on the Princess banner.

Showed 4 red orbs and 1 colorless.

I remember watching my friends do vs on one of the FE and Jaffar did a crit for 0, but it was insta-kill and the salt that came from it was glorious.

So I'm starting now and done 3 rerolls so far but not really sure which heroes I should stick with.

If I hit any S rank hero on the JP tier list should I just stick with that. So far I've had 5* Eldigan and 4* Catria but wasn't sure if those were good enough to stick with. Or should I aim for at least 1 SS or like at least 1 S plus an A or something?

I mean the plus point is it's pretty quick to reroll I guess.

I'd aim to keep at least one S+ character like Lucina, Linde, Hector, or Takumi. Azura, Kagero and Ryoma being a very close second imo.

I personally would probably aim for Hector or Takumi. There are a lot of good red and blue units to pull for once you start getting orbs, but not many green or colorless 5* heroes. Hector and Takumi are both also extremely good.

Yeah, Hector being the rarest of the bunch since there's a statistically lower chance of getting a green 5*. Red is oversaturated with melee characters.

Also are Ninian and Jaffar good? Just got both of them 5* on same pull. Ended up with

5* Jaffar (16HP/19ATK/9SPD/6DEF/5RES)

4* Palla (-ATK/+DEF)
4* Bartre

Strikes me as a pretty good start if Ninian and Jaffar are good?

Ninian and Jaffar are both brand new characters (as of like two hours ago), so I'm not sure what their caps are. By virtue of being a Dancer Ninian looks pretty solid just based on looking at her skills. She pairs really well with other dragons and you have Nowi. Jaffar looks like he could be all right too.

Nowi is good and a good candidate to burn your first 20,000 feathers to bump her up to 5*. She'll work really well with Ninian because she's a Dragon, and her special weapon allows her to retaliate at any range.

Edit: Speaking of the new characters, Karel looks like a murder machine. Holy shit.

Jaffar looks like the second best rogue behind Kagero with high attack, speed, and Glimmer.

I rerolled on this game for like a month trying to get a 5* Lyn. Probably did 2-3 a day average. Never got her. Finally gave up when I saw my data plan at 150 Gigs used. Now I'm just playing in the hopes that one day, I'll get a Lyn or Myrrh.

If you use an Android emulator (I use Nox) and set it to rooted mode, you can reroll in about 3 minutes. No downloading required. I assume it's the same on a rooted phone too, just my phone is not.

I've done probably 75-100 rerolls and I haven't seen a Lyn or Myrrh yet. If I come across one, I'll set aside the account for you.

To the best of my knowledge the only characters in the game from FE8 right now are Eirika and Ephraim. Your friend might have been thinking of Fae?

I have to say 5star jaffar is the best overall dagger user, effektiv against any unit, whil kagero kills infantery

Only opinion I've had so far is to keep going because not enough 5*'s. Is it really 5* or bust when rerolling?

I dunno. Your odds of getting multiple 5*s on the same pull are pretty low. Up to you ultimately whether you keep going for something specific or pick one and go with it. Of those listed I'd say Ninian/Jaffar/Nowi/Raven is a pretty decent team to start with, and on that team Nowi would be a good candidate to burn your first 20k feathers on to bump her to 5*.

If you're just looking for someone specific though, whether you keep going or not is up to you. If I had my eyes set on someone I'd probably just keep going until I got them.

Everyone who's rolling now is trying for Ninian. I agree, that set with Jaffar and Nowi looks solid.
