Gonna go out on a limb, but willing to bet that Camilla's Axe won't be anything more than a combo Drive Atk/Def to play off her Rose's Thorns skill from Fates then maybe a Ephraim type effect to keep her "Brave Weapon" status at over 90% hp. Rhomphaia will almost certainly be Wing Spear with a potential "at 100% HP, +stats and take 5 damage after combat" like other Echoes prf's.

I'm going to bet that the Yato upgrade will do some form of extra damage to dragons, maybe even going as far as nullifying bonuses from hone/fortify and nullifying Dragonskin.

The Rival Domains change was needed, but I still think changing when enemy reinforcements appear (end of turn like player phase instead of start of turn) would have been a better balance. This almost achieves the same effect but removes a penalty for storming ahead and gives no incentive to think strategically.

My strategy with rival domains is "autobattle with my whale friend units", while watching them so that if they're close to take a for I momentarily take control to do so and resume the autobattle. It works really well, considering unit survival is not only not necessary, but often a burden (better to sacrifice units to kill stuff than to reserve them), and that the AI fights mostly with that criteria.

Enemy battle music disappearing is worthy of a whole new number in the version.

I just picked this up again after stopping for a while. I love how much extra shit is in this game now. Also. I’ve spent about 200 orbs and I’ve been unable to get Myrrh. This is the character that gave me my first and only online handle


But, I did get Legendary Lyn, Ike, and Robin. And let me tell you. Robin is an unstoppable god. Also being able to level up weapons is sick. Being able to make Candlelight+ hit everything in a two square radius is just dirty and beautiful

candle light is childsplay! Pain+ & double savageblow is godlike for 24 splash damage 2 swuares around the target!!!

I wish I was extravagant enough to play with death staff builds. I'm still trying to cobble together a team that can to T19.5 Arena. I guess I settled on Nowi and Raven for the sake of easy merges, with BK+1 or VIke+1 as filler until I decide on a red. I'm surprised the two score pretty similarly, with the builds I have available anyways.

Fir becomes a pretty nasty all-rounder Distant Defense unit that can ploy you very reliably. It's not gamebreaking no, but makes some builds useable and a handful of builds pretty potent.

People seem to be missing the fact that Ares has low 30's for HP. Probably easier to get him into brazen range but leaves him open to, at best, survive an initial attack at very low HP before brazen can activate. Green mages may even be able to get a jump on him without a res boost from Mystleteinn.

I actually would really like Ishtar. Seems just different enough from a vanilla "slap a bladetome on it" unit.

Kind of funny after confirming it, but Lene's replacement character in Holy War can get a +res sword from Anna. Interesting that they made Lene get a non canon +def one instead.

Camilla's Axe: Atk/Spd+4 when within 2 spaces of a cav/flier ally. Eff Refine - (Grants Atk/Spd+3 to cav/fliers within 2 spaces).
-Sort of like Hinoka supporting her infantry siblings, Camilla supports her cav siblings. I was initially a little lukewarm to this (still am a bit, especially on using her in a cav mix) but throwing Goad Fliers on her makes her a +7/+7 goad truck in Flier Emblem which is pretty neat.

Clair's Rhomphaia is literally Caeda's Wing Sword. Effective vs Armor/Cav, Refine adds Flashing Blade. Clair has a lot more competition in blue fliers though so her extremely similar stat-line to Caeda (mainly the low base attack) probably make this not as hype as it could be.

Corn's Yato: +2 all stats. Grants +4 all stats to ally support partner. Effectively makes his support with someone give that person +5-6 all stats instead of +1-2. While a callback to his personal skill in Fates, it feels a little bit lackluster? Obvious comparisons to Marth's spectrum drive on Falchion (on top of Renewal, on top of dragon-killer). I dunno.

Speaking of Falchion, Chrom / Lucina / Masked Marth all can get Sealed Falchion (horse Chrom's); +5 all stats when wounded, no Renewal effect.

Julius is coming in a GHB, his tome has a neat effect. Takes effective damage from dragon-killer weapons (Falchion/Naga), but if being attacked by anything else foe gets -6 atk during combat. High-ish res, low def. Potentially survives Julia due to color advantage.

I wasn't too far off the mark thinking Camilla would become a drive unit similar to her Roses Thorn skill.

I kind of liked my original idea of Corrin's weapon negating any Dragon Buffs, like a reverse Dragonskin, but this is fine too.

Really like Julius' tome concept, but don't like that he can ploy more reliably than his father. It is good to see them experimenting with more unique weapon effects as a powercreep instead of a straight +stat concept.

Only took me like 20 orbs to get Bridal Thar'ja, +ATK - RES. Get out the way, old Thar'ja.

Was tempted to pull for flying dancer Ninian but not many orbs left after trying so hard for Spring Sharena (and failing) and I don't have a great flyer team anyway.

I was going to go for B!Tharja too...but my focus needs to remain on finishing +10 Neph and grabbing my last two Valor skills from seasonals (which, oddly enough, involved W!Tharja).

I've failed in the last 2 banners I wanted something to pull what I wanted... Wanted the green Olwen for my horse emblem, nope, wanted crazy Celica to feed her chill speed to my Soren, nope. I even made a small attempt (40 ish orbs) at Ishtar with no luck. Thankfully I don't want anything from the bridal banner, I have to save for the next CYL.

Actually staved off my urge to pull by finally going ahead with my DC Effie. +0 to +9 in one fell 180k feather swoop. Well...200k. I needed Berkut's Lance and itll be another 20k for my last Chrom to give her Aether. Down to 60k feathers.

For right now, shes a -Spd +Def Distant Counter menace to go with my +7 -HP +Res DC Nephenee menace. Hopefully I eventually find a -Spd +Res one.

I'm waiting to see what's going on with legend and 4heroes banners before I pull more, but I got a YTiki and Jaffar for the pokedex.

I got Ishtar as well with minimal effort so I can finally sit my Linde. I don't play as much now so I have a lot of holes in my barracks but it's starting to round itself out a bit. Still need a strong Infantry axe user that isn't Bike (who I love). Might invest in building up my Raven for that. Part of my problem is I'm missing a lot of the really good Seals from previous Tempest Trials (come baaaaaack QR seal).

I think I'm probably going to sit on my orbs now until the next CYL banner. I really wanted horse Ephraim but oh well. Unless one of the Summer units blows me away... cough Swimsuit Anna cough.

Didn't they say you can forge any seal you didn't obtain before? I think that's why they haven't made a campaign to repeat seals released previously.

I checked the Forge but didn't see those seals available. I'll have to look again. I'm also way behind on all the missions so maybe one of those unlocks more Forge options haha.

Looking over my barracks, I think one of the major holes in my lineup is a stocky Blue. The only blues I really have invested are Linde, Lancina, and Sharena. Camus is an obvious pick for cavalry teams but I'm thinking I could really use a bulkier blue to pair with my less defensively-minded Reds (like Bride Thar'ja). Does anyone have any recommendations?

Those are the units I already have at 5*. I've got a lot of feathers so any good 4* options are worth considering too. I'm half tempted to start working on a Lukas but he just feels so one-dimensional.

I also have a +DEF -SPD Grima I'm looking to start working on, and I really wish I had Bold Fighter to feed to him haha.
