Digimon World: Next Order (PS4)

It's coming out Jan 31, I might actually get a PS4 for this game lol. It's a remake of the Digimon World 1 from PS1 basically.

I don't think you quite grasp what a remake means.

I'm probably passing on this one unless it gets stellar reviews, I like the Stories formula more than the World one.

I actually imported the original release. It's not a remake of the original but a lot of things in the original are used in this, so it's kinda like a sequel of sorts. I didn't really like the fact they have you training two digimon at once although it seems a lot easier than the original game. Just got the game today so will see how I like it in English, its hard for me to get into games when I don't understand anything.

Wow the VA is actually in English, that is surprising. I wish they did Cyber Sleuth in English VA, can't stand JP VA.

Ok I think it's pretty much impossible to get to ultimate in the beginning, My digimon keep evolving only till champion before they die of old age

"dying of old age" reminds me why I never got more into these games

The beginning is pretty rough, you pretty much have to scrap by and recruit a lot of Digimon so you can improve the gyms and stuff. I can barely get an Ultimate too and they kinda stink vs the harder stuff.

DW 2 and 3 got rid of this mechanic I'm pretty sure. But then again, they're almost totally different games compared to DW 1. I didn't even tough DW 4 though. 3 was actually pretty fun from what I remember... which isn't much >_>. 2 was straight up a turn-based RPG.
