Vote to confirm was 11-10 strictly along party lines so Kavanaugh advances to a full floor vote. However, Flake has stated that unless that vote is delayed for a week to allow an FBI investigation, he will vote against Kavanaugh on the floor. McConnell can call his bluff, but doing so would look very bad and there's a chance he is not bluffing.

I think that is what happened... Flake is a no unless there is at least a 1 week investigation, but the white house has to allow that to happen.

So if Trump says no, we will see if Flake is a man of his word, or if he allows the Senate to just push him through.
