As a functioning alcoholic I know exactly when my blackouts happen. It is literally always right after I eat anything. I could drink for 5 hours straight and as long as I don't have as much as a saltine I'll remember most. Give me a sandwich and I'll go another 3 hours and won't recall any of it.

Oh, and there was the night I had been drinking and thought it was great to do as my friend called it, hard drugs (smoked a lil), and sat on a picnic table for an hour "contemplating life" as I was told I said.

All of my blackouts start the same way, on the third glass of a Long Island. Or the second one if it’s not one of those baby sized cups. But it’s always a Long Island. I sip most of my alcohol. But I could knock those back like it was water and I usually do.

Trump Understood Kavanaugh's Testimony as a Admittance of Alcoholism

During his Rose Garden press conference Monday, President Trump was asked whether he would withdraw Kavanaugh's nomination if it was determined that he lied about his drinking under oath.

"I was surprised at how vocal he was about the fact that he likes beer," Trump said. "And he's had a little bit of difficulty. I mean, he talked about things that happened when he drank. I mean, this is not a man that said that alcohol was — that he was perfect with respect to alcohol."

Later, Trump again characterized Kavanaugh as having described a problem with alcohol when he was younger. "I watched that hearing and I watched a man saying that he did have difficulty as a young man with drink," Trump said.

Trump would probably be faster to sour on Kav due to the drinking than from the actual assault allegations, or even proof.

Trump's a notorious straight-edge, he has been his entire life. He hates drinkers.

Even the time we pretty sure we were drugged and was fucked up for a good week after. Or the times I'm pretty sure I was risking alcohol poisoning.... which is likely going to be this weekend. God I love all you can drink grand tastings lol.

Should try some good wine fortified with brandy... goes down easier than a lot of just regular wines while being at least 20%. Good times

And you see, even this is more believable than Kavanaugh. The dude painted himself as a straight edge boy scout who never got loose and not a single person in America can relate. Everyone's like "cmon bruh...you were at yale, white, rich...cmon...we wont be mad just admit it" and he cant even do that.

He says he drank beer, liked beer, beer, BEER, but never once maybe drank too much and overstepped his bounds just a little? If he said hes never blacked out, but hes been really drunk before to the point he didnt want to move, I'd buy that 100%.

But to say you like beer THAT much and you've never gotten drunk before is just too much for me to believe. And the fact that, in the context of things, he did this right after Fords testimony who was the modicum of sincerity, even if you dont think it's enough to stop this nomination. Devils triangle is a drinking game? Oh cmon.
