I'll be honest and say i didn't watch it because I didn't want to hear about the details for my own sanity. I've been focusing more on the lighter sexual assault and inappropriate behavior because it's not as nearly as upsetting for me to read/watch.

Pisses me right the fuck off because some stupid bitch on Twitter was insisting that Swetnick was engaging in consensual group sex and no matter how many times I pushed the definition of rape at her she wouldn't stop. Now even if Swetnick was drugged and raped no one on that side is going to believe that she wasn't doing it of her own free will because she apparently enjoyed getting with multiple men on other occasions.

Even a nympho can be forced and raped against his/her own will. What matters is consent. Porn stars, prostitutes, etc all have the same right to say "no" to someone and be taken seriously.
I don't care what age, sex, occupation, if you're into hardcore S&M or if you only like to take it in the ass... everyone has the right to be respected on consent. :/ I don't get why I've had to explain what rape is multiple times on FB because everyone wants to fiddle around with the definition.

A person is being forced into a sexual act without their consent. It doesn't matter how much they like sex normally. It doesn't matter if you do all their favorite positions or use all their favorite toys. By the very definition a wife can rape her own husband. Doesn't matter via drugs, alcohol, blackmail, guilt, forced by pure strength--If the person doesn't consent to it they are being raped. Whew. I've had to have this same argument on FB and people trying to find every loophole to explain how rape should be allowable between family/friends. Rape isn't just when it's some stranger you've never met before forcing you to do the acts you always hate doing.

Sexual assault fucks people up in a variety of ways (including mental illness), and wanting to reclaim power is a very common impulse for survivors. For some, choosing to engage in similar behavior where they were powerless before but now with someone they trust/consent to can be empowering.

I want to legit know why someone would have kept that letter over the years and how it ended up anywhere. I'm in disbelief at the existence of the letter yet I must believe it because Kavanaugh himself says it is real if I am to believe the article. On what grounds was it necessary to keep it? For the mems? How did someone obtain it?

Not gonna speak to the authenticity of that particular letter, but there is definitely a subset of American society that actively endeavors to peak in high school and "get it all out of their system" before entering the adult world. Folks that do this love to keep trophies and memorabilia of the "good times" they had as teenagers.

I'll even get keeping your band music book just to look at and remember how your band went to nationals. I'll even squint and pretend I understand the calendar.
