Yeah, the letter doesn't match the implication of the headline. Makes it seem like she was showing a friend how to cheat the system. They must be hoping nobody reads far enough to put it in context.
Dr. Ford explained in detail what to expect, how polygraphs worked and helped McLean become familiar and less nervous about the exam.
That's me. Boi I live for that shit. Nothing better than seeing how petty people can be.
My old job I had to document divorce decrees, suicide notes, affidavits, credit report reviews and etc...
Best part of the job was reading divorce decrees. You could tell how good it was going to be by how many pages. You get one that's like 5 pages? Boring. Then you get a file come through with 151 pages and you're like shit go get me a fucking coffee, I'm reading the WHOLE THING OK.
Oh my God, a psychologist was doing psychologist work. THE HORROR.
I've already stated numerous times that the investigation should be thorough. Sounds like the FBI is supposed to wrap things up tonight and still they won't question Ford.
In fact it sounds like no one who has stepped out into the media has been questioned at all making me wonder who else besides Kavanaugh and Judge are being talked to.
Pray that this investigation was so clearcut that when they drop the information on the Senate it is so painfully obvious what is going on that none of this racket was worth our time questioning.
I thought that line of questioning was strange at the time, clearly they were asking it for a reason...but then didn't spring her ex's accusation on her. Why?
In the context of the questioning it seemed like it was about the polygraph she took (not someone else's from 20+ years earlier) but if what her boyfriend said is true, what she said wasn't accurate.

https://www.theatlantic.com/politics...anaugh/571915/As the Senate awaits the results of the FBI investigation into the Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, Jeff Flake, one of the lawmakers who spurred the inquiry, criticized the judge Tuesday for his recent appearance in the upper chamber.
Flake called the judge’s interactions with lawmakers “sharp and partisan.”
"I was very troubled by the tone of the remarks," he said later, adding, "And I tell myself, you give yourself a little leeway because of what he's been through, but on the other hand, we can't have this on the court. We simply can't."
I caught up with Flake briefly as he left the event, and asked if this meant he would not vote to confirm Kavanaugh, even if the FBI cleared him by week’s end. He appeared rattled, and his handlers rushed him into the stairwell. “I didn’t say that …” he stammered. “I wasn’t referring to him.”
i think he's still a probable yay but by all accounts Flake is absolutely tortured by the choice. don't think even he knows which way he'll break at the moment. a little surprised to be honest i thought Murkowski and Collins would be the only two in play with McCain gone.
It is wild that a guy who rode the tea party wave to the Senate is having grave concerns here.

That's how you know his grift game is on point.
So what you're saying is we need a few more survivors to accost him in the elevator and his conscience may come through.
How in the world do you guys think he isn't getting confirmed. Flake did this only so he had something to shield him when he votes yes, that is it.
Fun watch btw:
